Korea Meeting Vows To Support Global Infectious Disease Fight

Delegations from 47 countries and nine international organizations gathered in Seoul recently for the second Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) High-Level Meeting, where South Korea vowed to provide $100m to 13 developing countries over the next five years to help them deal with infectious diseases. The “Seoul Declaration” adopted after the meeting presented 11 global health security action packages and specific targets.
