East Asia Joins Hands To Tackle Common Health Issues

Health ministers from South Korea, Japan and China met in Kyoto, Japan on Nov. 29 to step up joint efforts to deal with health and medical issues in the three countries such as new infectious diseases, aging societies and non-communicable diseases. Ways to share information and cooperate in technology, including possibly forming a tripartite consultative body, were among the issues under discussion.
